{"id":7951,"date":"2019-09-23T17:32:13","date_gmt":"2019-09-23T10:32:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/indian100.com\/?p=7951"},"modified":"2019-09-23T17:32:13","modified_gmt":"2019-09-23T10:32:13","slug":"the-hokkaido-university-short-term-exchange-program-hustep-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/indian100.com\/en\/the-hokkaido-university-short-term-exchange-program-hustep-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"The Hokkaido University short-term exchange program (HUSTEP) 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>International University (IU) would like to announce <strong>The Hokkaido University Short-term exchange program (HUSTEP) in Japan. <\/strong>This is the opportunity for students to learn languages and Japanese cultures for 5-month living at Hokkaido University, Japan.<\/p>\n<p>More information of the program are as followed:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Time of enrollment:<\/strong> From <strong>April 2020<\/strong> to <strong>August 2020.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong>Eligibility:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Be enrolled and pay tuition fees at their home university as a full-time student during the entire period of study in Japan.<\/li>\n<li>Have completed at least two years of undergraduate study at their own university prior to arrival in Japan.<\/li>\n<li>Achieve GPA\u22653.0 over the scale 4.0, or equivalent.<\/li>\n<li>Be proficient in English. Non-native English speakers must have a score of at least TOEFL iBT 79 or IELTS 6.5.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Note: <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8211; Applicants are not required to know Japanese to be eligible for application.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8211; Applicants studying Japanese are recommended to apply for Japanese Language and Cultural Studies (JLCSP) instead of HUSTEP.<\/em><\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><strong> Application package: 1 original and 1 copy package<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>(Download application forms at: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.global.hokudai.ac.jp\/admissions\/exchange-student-admissions\/exchange-programs-in-english-hustep\/\">https:\/\/www.global.hokudai.ac.jp\/admissions\/exchange-student-admissions\/exchange-programs-in-english-hustep\/<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0\u00a0 &#8211; <\/strong>HUSTEP Application Form\u00a02017-2018 (including Cover page of HUSTEP 2020 Application Form and HUSTEP Application Form 2019-2020)<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Certificate of enrollment at International University;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Recommendation letter<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Official Transcript of record;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Certificate of Health;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; 03 portrait pictures size 4.5&#215;3.5cm;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; TOEFL or IELTS Certificate;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Copy of passport (not notarized);<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Please note:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Applicants of HUSTEP will be sponsored JASSO Scholarship with a grant of 80,000 JPY\/month.
