Dear Teachers, Officers of International University,

First of all, I would like to send warm greetings to the health of the teachers, officers and employees, and their families. Hope we are all healthy and safe whenever we step into a new day.

The Covid-19 pandemic, in its fourth return with different variants, is still going on extremely complicated and dangerous. In that context, the epidemic prevention work in Ho Chi Minh City and other neighboring provinces is forced to be tighter and be implemented more thoroughly, making us encounter many difficulties and disturbances. I know this is a difficult time for all of us when we have to deal with the responsibility of taking care of our children because of the at-home studies and activities; the lack of material, spiritual possessions; restrictions on activities of the whole society, and concern for themselves and their families in the face of unforeseen dangers and risks of the epidemic. As a resident of the epidemic area, I understand and sympathize with the school community. As a teacher committed to the profession and as a principal, I am always here, sympathizing and sharing difficulties with everyone.

Dear Teachers,

The summer of 2021, in an unexpected way, has turned out to be an unusual summer not only for our International University but for other schools throughout the country. Although the school has actively implemented online teaching for more than a year, students and some teachers have not yet fully adapted to this teaching and learning method. Therefore, to have good educational results, teachers must work harder and harder in updating more online teaching tools, preparing – improving teaching methods, monitoring and evaluating the learning outcomes of the students. Especially in the online learning environment, students also face even more difficulties in comprehending the lectures; because of the lack of communication – direct and active communication like in classroom learning. In addition, online learning also requires learners’ higher concentration and activeness. Because of these points, although teaching and working online is not new anymore, it is not an easy thing for our teaching profession.

Despite such difficulties, in the past time, the teachers have been teaching with enthusiasm for the future of generations of students and the quality of the school. My heart is full of pride, appreciation, and deep gratitude for the efforts and contributions of the teachers for the mutual work of the school and the whole society. Luckily, International University has such amazing people like you.

Dear Officers and School’s Employees,

Recently, to ensure administrative, financial, and managing work during the time of social distancing, the school has switched to working from home in combination with the use of an information system. A part of officers works without any fear of difficulties and risks during the epidemic season, to ensure that all administrative activities are smooth, the Internet and information system operate stably to better serve the e-learning activities, salary, and payments to get into the account on time and the recruiting campaign in 2021 to achieve good results, etc. Luckily, though we are ought of sight, we are not out of mind. Instead, we have completed the mission of the 2020-2021 school year and entered the new school year 2021-2022 positively and proactively.

Covid-19 has truly changed the world completely and forever. According to many predictions, it will be impossible for the scenario that after this epidemic passes, everything will return to normal; A new epidemic can always break out at any time. Therefore, I hope that all teachers and officers will always comply with the Government’s regulations on epidemic prevention. At the same time, think positively, be optimistic, overcome difficulties and stay healthy. We are waiting for the opportunity to return to school, to meet each other, to continue to fulfill unfinished plans and for the upcoming school years.

Once again, I would like to express my sincerest thanks to the entire school members for the love and commitment that everyone has given to the International University. I believe that, with will, bravery, love, and solidarity, we will overcome many difficulties and challenges together. Wishing you and your family good health, peace, and happiness.

See you all at the school one day soon!

Best regards./.
